When Erias Lukwago is not picking his fat cheque from the Uganda taxpayers for being the most useless mayor of Kampala, his either feasting and binging on food or pretending to be a Liberator of Ugandans.
When you ask him to name at least one thing that he has done for Kampala city during his over 20 years term in office, he gets defensive…goes into tantrums, and begins to quarrel. Why is it difficult for him to show what he has done for the people of Kampala….Because, the mess is visible for everyone to see.
Now his off to New York for a few days where his scheduled to make a presentation at the Annual City Mayors’ Conference fully sponsored by the US based Open Society Foundations.
Apart from phony titles and a head that looks like it has been soaked in baking soda, what presentation will he make when kampala is a mess? He should just sit down, listen, learn, tour New York, come back and implement something. See the green parks, botanical gardens, etc.
At least do something small for Kampala. We’re very sure that, he will spend most of the time visiting his tribemates and binging on food. All he has done since 2011 is whine like a little whore that has lost a sugar daddy, attend endless feasts, promote his legal firm and businesses.
Because of a supremacist tribal mindset that has taken Ugandans hostages, in spite of poor performance and a rundown Kampala city, the Buganda tribal cabal have used their big numerical numbers to undermine development for all, and have elected a useless mayor, year after year. Thus tribalism has been put before service delivery-Kampala is badly off , with dust and bad roads. The city is a ramshackle, chaotic, dirty, corrupt, and with poor health & Safety facilities that kill people every week due to poor planning. The useless mayor of Kampala, Erias Lukwago behaves more like a political tribal leader, that thinks Uganda owes him benefit entitlements.
That’s why he spends more time promoting party politics and parasitic politicians, than he does Kampala city.
The sad news is that, the useless mayor is still around for sometime, because the parasitic political class and its tribal cabal, need useless leaders like him, so they can continue to thrive in backward politics and fooling gullible Ugandans. In fact, some political parasites want to front the useless mayor as the next president of Uganda, just like they fronted a drug dealer and abuser, Bobi Wine.
The Uganda leadership will never be about merit based on service delivery and competence, but tribalism, nepotism, patronage,bribery and violence. That’s the reason why we always have the same clique of parasites imposing themselves on Ugandans.
Till we free ourselves from the parasitic tribal cabal, Ugandans will continue to be represented and led by mediocre leaders. Thus poor service delivery; corruption, substandard goods, bad roads, poor hospitals and schools will continue to be the main culture of Uganda. Of course with such mediocracy, Ugandans will continue to be backward with a low IQ. That’s why religious fake masters, witchdoctors and phony vloggers on social media have a big following.
